Thank you for stopping by and reading my very first ever blog...enjoy, I hope!

A couple of weeks ago we here in Ohio were hit with a blizzard. 8 to 10 inches. I have a mostly mounted route (and as I am new here, I gather that there are quite a few of you who are rural carriers! Hats off to ya! I'm clueless as to how you guys operate since I've been a city carrier for the last 30 years.)

Anyway, you all know how wonderful our LLV's are in a trace of snow and so we commented to that affect to our manager, Mr. I Drive a $50,000 Hummer, and explained that we might be running a little late this day. "It's not like we're driving a Hummer like you are!" we said! Mr. Hummer then said, "My truck is terrible in the snow! In fact, I bet the LLV's are better than my Hummer in the snow!"

It made our morning! We're still laughing about that one.

    P.S.

Too bad Mr Hummer was dead serious!

    P .P.S.

We're considering writing to Congress to help outfit our boys and gals fighting in Iraq with the proper equipment...send them our LLV's. How have they survived this long without them!

Guylian Chocolate Sea Shells are my favorite. They are from Belgium. $20 for a small box, but worth every penny!
