    Summer Time!

    Thursday, July 3, 2008, 04:00 AM [General]

Taking some time off this summer, mostly spending time with family and getting a few things done around the house. Home Depot people seem to know me by my name as of late. Our daughter and two teenage grandaughters have been staying with us this week. I would say visiting, but the two teens spend most of their waking hours, which begins around 11am, glued to their computers or cell phones. But, we have been spending plenty of time in the pool and hot tub, and shopping. Actually, I don't shop, I just enjoy the peace and quiet while they're out and I have the house to myself. Have a great summer!

    Been A While

    Sunday, March 30, 2008, 06:10 AM [General]

Man, it's been a a while since my last visit here. Been working lots of OT the last few months and raking in the dough, but you can get too much of a good thing. Now we've got to get through April 15th, though it's not as big of a deal as it used to be because so many people file online now. Then there's the rate change May 12th, right after Mothers Day. On the bright side, the weather is warmer now and will be much warmer in a month or two. We have more than our share of attractive female customers here and when it's warm out, they dress appropriately.
