this just reminded me of our union reps & postal management so i had to post it!!

Blind Bunny 
           
   One morning a blind bunny was hopping down the
 bunny trail and  tripped over a large snake and
 fell, kerplop right on his twitchy little  nose.
    
'Oh please excuse me,' said the bunny. 'I didn't
 mean to trip over you, but  I'm blind and can't
see.'
 
   'That's perfectly all right,' replied the snake.
 'To be sure, it was my  fault. I didn't mean to trip
 you, but I'm blind too, and I didn't see you 
coming. By the way, what kind of animal are you?'
    
  'Well, I really don't know,' said the bunny. 'I'm
 blind, and I've never seen  myself. Maybe you could
examine me and find out.'
 
   So the snake felt the bunny all over, and he said,
 'Well, you're soft, and  cuddly, and you have long
 silky ears, and a little fluffy tail and a dear
 twitchy little nose. You must be a bunny rabbit!'
    
   The bunny said, 'I can't thank you enough. But by
 the way, what kind of  animal are you?'
  The snake replied that he didn't know either, and
 the bunny agreed to  examine him, and when the bunny
 was finished, the snake asked, 'Well, what  kind of
 an animal am I?'
   
   The bunny had felt the snake all over, and he
 replied, 'You're cold, you're  slippery, and you
 haven't got any balls....You must be a POLITICIAN.'

well, when we got back from the street today, there were opt in forms on every case.  contrary to what our PM had already decided,(he was only counting about 1/3 of us), district mandated the office wide count.  I was already opted in by my supv, who knew I was opting myself in, so I guess they just wanted to make sure, lol.  Let's get this party started so it can END!  I hate count!  I hate having to argue for a second here & there to make my pitiful paycheck less pitiful.  oh! well, hopefully I can get my route adjusted & get back to having a life soon, & one more count done before I am able to retire.  (15 yrs, which translates to 5650 days, 3hr, 1m) not that I'm counting down

BRRRRR!  It's cold!  we had a low last night of 25, with a high today in the upper 40's   Glad I was off today, should get up to 65 MAYBE, tomorrow.  There were snow flurries on the east coast, around Daytona this morning.  This was my last day of vacation!  Dread tomorrow!  Hope everyone had a great holiday season.  Happy New Year!!! (belatedly, I'm sorry)

Well, it's Christmas here in sunny FL.  I'm  wearing my Christmas shorts & shortsleeved blouse.    Hardly seems like it should be Christmas attire.  Hope all have a wonderful holiday.  God bless! and stay warm.

Star & Ribbon Jigsaw Puzzle

Hey!  I survived the 1st week of Christmas overtime.  Every piece goes every day, just like "the MAN" says.  got a smidge of OT  (flat sorter was down of Fri so we had no machine std flats)  I'm off for 3 days! then work 4, off 2, work 5, then OFF for almost 2 weeks, hooray!!!!! Can you tell I'm burnt out already???  to top it all off, it was HOT today, must have been mid '80's here, not conducive to the Christmas spirit, oh, well!  Hope everyone else is more cheerful.
