Thanks for responding Mike, I understand what you're going through. I only wish they would have to post everything under me for bid. As it is, I am only going to have 1 route (the junior regular's) to bid on. This after 21 years seniority. What has our Union come to? The didn't eliminate the other guy's route, they split mine up and only left me a piece, gave me the other guy's route, and named it mine. WOW You're right, talk about creative!
Interim Route Adjustments
Hello, I just joined this website. I am looking for other Carriers who are experiencing major changes to their routes from the Interim Route Adjustment Process. I have 21 years seniority in my office, and they have practically assigned to me the full route of the junior carrier's route, which they have eliminated. (And renamed my route). What rights do I have? They only left me 40 curbside and a few NDCBU's from my original route. How can our Union agree to something like this. I have 15 routes in my office who have carriers with less seniority than me, and I am going to only have 1 available to bid on. Do they not have to post every route with less seniority than me, when they take this much of my original route away from me. I have been on my route for 9 years. This just does not seem right! Please respond if you have any imput which could help me ! Thank You
