A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from Midnight until 6 PM on
Tuesday for Eau Claire, Chippewa, Pepin, Dunn, Pierce, St. Croix, Polk,
Barron, and Rusk county. A Winter Storm Watch is in effect for Taylor,
Clark, Buffalo, Trempealeau, Jackson, La Crosse, Winona, Houston,
Monroe, Vernon, and Crawford county. As of 6 PM on Tuesday, a Wind
Chill Advisory will go into effect until 12 PM on Wednesday.
Overnight, we'll see rain showers tapering off. Temps will be in
the low to mid 30's. By morning, any drizzle leftover will freeze.
Temps will be in the upper 20's.
By mid morning, light snow will trickle in due to an arctic cold front.
This front wiill pack a punch! Temps will fall throughout the day.
Infact, over the span on 36 hours, temps will fall 55 degrees!! In
addition, winds will pick up out of the Northwest and gust to 40 MPH.
This means we'll have blowing snow, which means visibilities will be
reduced. Once this headache swings through, we'll be left with 1-3" of
fresh powder. A good reason to leave work early, driving conditions
will be sub-par.

Wednesday: Partly sunny and cold. Highs in the single digits.
