I keep telling management that when that computer gets out there and carries my route, thats when I might believe it, NOT! Even though the mail volume is dropping the number of stops and extra miles from my new growth haven't all the sudden shrunk. And if your not back at 5:00pm expect a letter of suspension. Our supv. has been very fond of giving these out like they are candy, just ask our steward. With the way things are financially, why are we being harassed and bullied day in and day out. Our station has become a Hostile Environment. And to top it off the Area and District Managers and their favorite henchwomen have descended on our station. What do they think all this is going to accomplish? I've been a carrier for 12 yrs. so I still have a ways to go before I can retire. They need to get rid of management and just let us do our jobs. Once I'm out of the office I'm  better,still have to watch out for all those supv's out  doing street observations though. Their newest thing is to come out and want to see how much mail you have to see if your lying about your time you use out on the street. I like my route, I watch out for several elderly and really enjoy outside, but then you have to go back in to the station and more harassments before we can go home. I have told my steward to file a grievance for the Hostile Environment, but I don't think she wants to.
