New ruralinfo delegate awareness project
We are here to help get out the vote!!!
One of the most important rights rural carriers have as members of the NRLCA is voting on the delegates
we send to the National Convention..
The delegates we send to the convention literally control this union.
Voting on delegates is the next best thing to being at the convention to vote yourself..
Our first goal is to raise awareness of just how important it is to vote for your delegates.
Our second goalis to try to give some information on who the delegates are and how they feel about the issues.

National Grievance filed on 2008 rural mail count
The National Board has been receiving numerous reports from the field
concerning problems with the 2008 National Mail Count. In addition,
information has been and continues to be provided by rural carriers to
the respective state steward, the respective NRLCA Executive
Committeeman, or other National Officers regarding the mail count. All
reports and information are being reviewed and investigated.
Because
of the volume of information being collected and the time required to
review and evaluate such material, the National Board determined that
it was necessary to initiate a grievance at the Step 4 level in order
to protect the interests of all rural carriers. Therefore, a Step 4
level grievance has been filed by President Pitts. The National Board
will keep the membership apprised of any significant development
related to this grievance.
