For reasons that will become apparent
in the Award of Arbitrator Fishgold, the parties have no further arbitration hearings scheduled. We are awaiting an Award and will update the website with the full text as soon as it is available.
Rumor is that FSS will be up and running in Dulles soon.. I have pulled together a bunch of info on FSS machines... I dont think there has been an estimate on the decline of rural workload, but NAPUS says these will decrease city carrier workload by 85%... I know, I know, just like DPS right??
They are going to do it whether it works or not... And all of us out here on the front lines will pay for it....

of commingling letter-sized mail with flats when mail sorted on flat-sorting
machines is presented to rural carriers for casing.

Hello all, I am going to start posting rural carrier information on this group blog. Most of you already here probably already know most of these things, but I want to be sure that any one that happens upon this group or one of our profiles will get the news also...
