well i'm back from my first va-ca this month. i didnt do anything really, my parents came to visit and we went out looking at houses all week. they are planning on moveing to nc if they can sell their house. lol. it was prett good. all except for my AC crapping out on me. at least my parents brought the cooler weather with them. it was only in the 80's this week which is unusual for an august in NC. normally were in the 90's all month. but other than that. i'm back at work and all is still the same there. nothing new to report there. all i have to do now is to get through this week with no TE's ( after delivering the mail for 6 months, managment finally decided to sent them off for 3 days to the letter carrier academy) yea yea yea i know, makes no sence to me ... oh wait, thats right, if it doenst make sence, then thats how the po will do things. lol. there i go thinking again but i'm not on the clock right now so its ok to think, once i get on the cloce, no nore thinking for me. lol.  but anyways, getting back to what i was saying eailrer, once i get through this week, and hopefully get the ac working again ( its been a week now that i havnt had it) i go on another va-ca again. this time me and the husband are going to the outer banks for a week. cant wait! i live 3 hrs away from the beach but i just havnt had the time or money to go lately. hopefully when i get my credit cards paid off i can go more often.   also, about the ac, the reason that i havnt had it for a week now is that my husband, which by the way, is licenced to work on ac units, was at work for the week and didnt get home till friday evening and the parts that we need to get, we cant get them till monday so hopefully come tomarrow, i will finally be cool. at least, working for the po, i'm use to this kind of weather and having the windows open at night help out a lot too. but i am ready to cool down though. well thats all for now. nothing else new is going on, but when i have more to tell, i'll be back. take care all!

well, i'm on my first week of vacation this month ... in 2 more weeks i go on another vacation. cant wait. this week i am staying home and my parents came to nc for a visit and are staying with me. they are planning on moving down here in the near future as soon as they can sell their house in MD, so for this week all we are doing is going house hunting. i tell you what ... i wish i made more money. some of these houses that we have visited are absoultly georgous and walking through them knowing that i could never afford them kinda sucks. but it is kinda fun though. now after seeing some of these houses, i want a new house. oh well, cant afford one right now though. maybe some day.  life has been pretty un-eventful lately thats why i havnt written a blog lately the only thing going on here is the weather really and we all know how that always changes. as soon as life picks up again and there are more things to talk about becides the weather ... lol .... i'm sure i'll be on here more often.  i cant wait till the last week of august. thats when i go away for vacation. jason and i are going to the outerbanks of NC for fishing and relaxzation. a whole week not having to think or talk about work, it should be great. well other than that, nothing has been going on like i said before although i did get a new computer for my b-day / annaversery present. i love it. ive had it fot 2 days now and i'm still learning what this bad boy can do.  getting new toys to play with is always a good thing. well that is until it breaks then its a pain in the a**.  well i hope things are more eventful for everyone else and maybe things will pick up here, till then take care and have fun.

Hi everyone. i know that i havnt written a blog in a while but i've been busy and also i have been having problems with my internet. well i'm back now and hopefully i'l have more to say then once a month. lol.

well, i dont know about everyone else, but here in nc, were going to have the new flat sorting machiene come here in the next year. i am deffently not looking forward to it. every carrier has their own way of how they like to deliver their mail and i'm not looking forward to having to deliver a new way that doesnt work for me. so what happens when they get rid of 1/2 the rotues and have all of these extra carriers left over? i dont know maybe its just me. i hope things will work out. but then again, how long have they had DPS and they still cant get that right. lol. all i know is that vacation is not comming soon enough. i got a week off in aug and me and my husband are headed to the outer banks of nc. it should be fun, i just love going there. unfortunally our friends backed out of comming with us this year so we had to get a smaller house but i guess that had to do with gas $ .lol. its outrageous. i have a 50 mile commute to work one way every day, i'm putting at least 100 miles on my car a day and thats not including grocery shopping and seeing friends etc. i cant get to a po any closer to my home because, well, i'm a city carrier and all the po's close to me are all rural. i dont want to move closer cuz, the county taxes are just outrageous and i love living in the country. i also live in a lake resourt and there is not one closer to work that i can afford and have all the amminties there that i have here. oh well at least i can carpool to work with my husband and his father. thats one way to save the gas money. lol. well anyways, hope all is well with everyone and hope to talk to you all soon, till then, take care

well, i dont know how the weather is in the rest of the country, but we are setting record hichs here in NC. this past week and most of next week its in the 100's. ive been going through so much water and gateoraide at work and at home. it sucks, you know out there at work for like 5 hrs or so in an LLV / FFV  where it gets to be about 120 inside thoes things with no ac. i think that i've already lost about 5 pounds which ive tried so hard to gain. i was told by my doctor to gain about 10 to maybe 20 pounds but with work, out in the heat and all, its nearly imposible. even though the heat is a pain to work in, i would much rather have the heat then the fridget cold of the winter. i guess thats one reason why i moved to NC. at least on my days off i can relax in the boat at my lake. hope everyone else has it good.

you know that carring mail is a very strenous job. i swear that i kicked me in the **** today. i'm still hurting from it. first as i was trying to get out of my truck to deliver a parcel, i banged mh knee up really good on the stearing wheel, which by the way is still hurting and slightly swolen, then shortly after that at lunch i heated up my pizza from the night before too much and burnted the roof of my mouth. skin is still pealing off. then to add insult to injury, i was delivering to a cluster box then when i went back to my truck, when i was stepping off a curb, my ankel decided that it didnt want to hold my weight ( which by the way is not that much) and i fell to the asphfult and hurt my knee again along with my elbow. also that morning, i cut my finger on my cutter at work when i was poening bundled mail. i swear i'm murphys law. i feel like jessica alba in the movie good luck chuck. all i have to say is thank goodness that i have off tomarrow to recorperate. if i didnt i dont know what i would do. i guess call in hurt. lol. i hope that everyone elses day went better then mine. other than that today was a good day. lol.
