    ok...

some of you know about the lack of the matrix in our office( it was MISSING for months ) i said something about it and now they have decided to do one from memory... it is not right it is not the one that was there etc. i was going to file a grievence and was told that a  union person said that we just needed to make one from memory . this just dosnt seem right . i thought if they could not provide a copy of the last one they had to let us choose agian. is this right or is it the make it up rule?

this dosnt seem right . they say there is not bumping no bumping...

i agree on  the 1st route but shouldnt  the senior rca get to choose form there.can i file a grievence and win this or what do i do? also my state steward is not helping. can i call a steward form another state to help? we have alot of favoritim in our area. and rcas are not on the list for it...

can you guys help or am i SOL?

    to fast or to slow?

Thursday, July 17, 2008, 04:10 PM MST [General]

so on saturday a week ago i got told that i am "going to fast  and i need to slow down " i need to slow down and make sure each piece of mail is fo the number in fornt of me before i put it in the box. OK . that would take me at least 10 hours we have an L route and it is stupid i look at it in the case i look at it when i am pulling down etc.etc...

so i go to work on wed and low and behold we have another stand up talk. the pm gives this one. we need to wathc our time we are going over our time by 2.4 % and we need to be close to 1%. and no its not really the regulars that she is talking about" it is generally the subs who dont know the routes as well and they tend to take more time"

my question -- i take less time than the regular and i help everyone in the office at one point or another. why do i need to slow down would that not keep the time for our % to stay up? make up your minds!!! i am so tired of them saying one thing then turning around and telling us the EXACT opposite  the next day.

but more over -- they expect us to stay under or close to the evaluated time yet they cut so many of the routes by hours with this last count, how do they expect us to stay under doing the same amountof work for the lesser evaluated time. i think it is all a load of crap.

ok i feel better and i am not going to slow down i will do my best to go at a normal speed and if i get done i will go home i am tired of the back and forth of management.

put my name in the hat

Tuesday, July 8, 2008, 04:24 PM MST [General]

ok so i am tired of being the lowest of the low ( an rca) so what  did i do ? i went ahead and signed for the stewards position in myoffice , it is between myself and a woman whois a regular in the office. i don t know how it will go but if  i do get elected i know it cant be anyworse than it has been in the past.

so keep a goodthought ofr me please and i hope i can do all the other stewards proud although i will probably be asking for some help form time to time, so  anyway this is the news from the homefront here...

where is everyone anyway it is so quie here lately ... is everyone hoping they can go in the EO? i have a long time and alot of crappy days to go before that can ever be my reality i just hope one person out of my office takes it then i can go regular. that is my hope , i say a little prayer each nite , ok im rambeling . ..

    stamp stock?

Wednesday, May 14, 2008, 09:23 AM MST [General]

so i go to work yesterday and am talking to a regular in the case next to me and she says so do you have an extra $10-$150 laying around? what ?

well aparently our PM thinks we all need to carry that much stamp stock around each day. that includes the RCA's too. i looked at her and said do you realize that is half of a check for some of the RCA's a payperiod? well she was mad because one of the RCA's brought back 8 orange envelopes for stamps.  so now she thinks we should all carry out large amounts of stock each day. in our office we maybe use 3-4 books a week. we are rural but really its not ike we seel that many all the time . the only reason that the other RCA's had 8 orange envelopes is probably due to the fact i dont  know -- the price change of postage went up!!!! dont you think that coud have made a huge differenceon the amount of postage is sold in the next two weeks?

it seems like our office rules change from day to day. we come in and have one set of rules and by the end of the day they change. it has even gotten to the point that the supervisorhas starteed to see it too.

    a volume count

Sunday, May 11, 2008, 09:48 AM MST [General]

ok so we went into work on friday and had a paper on the cases that said all the start times were to be mved back30 min.agian. we are inthe SE district and apparently we are all having to count the volum each day. we used to do this every day and it took allof 30 seconds . why are we now havig to move back 30 min and not be able to start until 8am now?

and  why all f a sudden are we doing volume counts agian ? is this something to work off the mail count agian? i any one else doing this?
