so for the past two or three days it has been so beautiful outside it has been warm and sunny , the weathers great then yesterday it in the mid 70's and of course a cold front is blowing in... tornado weather here.
at about 3 pm yesterday i am driving out to help a fellow RCA she is on a route she had never delivered on or been trained on and asked if i could come help her get in before dark...
so stupid me i say sure if its ok with the PO i will come out. so i did. not 5 min in the tornado sirens go offf and we are in the middle of the area it is saying its going to hit with in min. i call the other RCA and say get behind me and follow me , she did know how to get out of the area . so we do and a tornado hits the area a few min later messed up some stuff, tore up some houses , etc. the rain is horrible and we call the PO and say its bad out here and the area that is left is where the bad weather is supposed to be at. them well its not raining here and the tornado warning is off now. so i cant tell you to come in and not deliver the rest.
me --- dumfounded ---OK so this is around 330 now and i go back out and deliver the rest of the mail send the other RCA back and say i will finish for you and i get back to the PO at 545 in the dark and wet as a drown rat. but the mail got threw --- -how stupid am i ? i really got to thinking about it this morning when i woke up . i must really be STUPID!!!
oh well --now its so cold the windows are frozen over and a frost on the ground so now everyone will be sick agian. and get to go to the doctors office for a shot in the tush.....
dont you love the post office? now i just wish someone would retire or my aux route would become a full route either would work for me , well if the regulars dont get the route adjustments stopped yet agian
