What a depressing day.  Mail count results are in at my office, and just about all of the 'J' routes are going 'H'.  Some of the 'K' routes are likely to go 'J'.  That will of course result in fewer hours for a lowly sub like me.  I'm considering switching to UPS.  They pay really well once you've been on for a while.  The only problem is you have to start out as a part-time package sorter for very little money, and there are no guarantees.  I was considering working the graveyard shift there, and keeping my job as an RCA, so I could actually keep earning a decent income.  Then I remembered that I signed something saying that I wasn't allowed to do that.  Does anybody know the rules regarding this issue, or have any other thoughts or advice?  Thanks.

Did everyone across the country have just about NO mail today, or was it just my office?  I was working the biggest route in the office today and I only had 2 trays of DPS.  I went home around 12:30.  Is the poop about to hit the fan, or should I just be thankful for such a glorious day?
