SHeeeshhh..does NO one blog anymore? wtf? you can write anything you want..kind of like this..just give us something to read...some reason to check in...something..I dont care if you blog what you had for dinner...just something..heck post some pictures...dont have any of your own? find some on the interent...sad sad sad it is indeed OBE ONE...to be floating alone out here in cyberspace......
I am going to make this a weekly blog..and I guarantee....You will all either get really tired of hearing it..or you will step up and support the cause...and THEN AND ONLY then will I stop!!!
Some of you will be appalled at what im going to say..and you will argue..and hee haw....but its the truth..and nothing BUT the truth!!! We can complain about our union...and complain about our officers....BUT that is not our true problem!!! OUR problems BEGIN and END with us!!! ALL of us!!! When you are to lazy to attend meetings...to lazy to take the time to get informed about what you are voting for or against...or WHO....or to take the time to inform others!!!!
THE only way we are ever going to have a STRONG and pro-active union..is to BECOME one...through changing our system...and our MINDsets!!! And making sure we vote for people who best represent what we hope to become!! We constantly preach the delegate awareness project..and no one commits..or comments...WHY? IF you cant see this is the NUMBER 1 thing we can do...to make ourselves progressive...then your a moron!!! I aint gonna mince words...I aint gonna stroke egos...and it might not be what you want to hear!!! It does NO good to whine and vent and complain...if you can take the time to do a little research..and share your Impressions of those delegates you do know from your state!! thats all you have to do!!! We would love to have you help us send cards...or flyers promoting the project..but you dont even have to do that!!! all you have to do is share that there IS ONE!!! If just every member on here sent 5 cards...at the cost of what? $2.20? and 10 minutes of your time..we would have a start...!!! Maybe not half those cards would get consideration..but what if half did?
At this years National Convention we couldnt get rid of the pricey Banquet...we couldnt get rid of the budget breaking annual conventions...or any of the HOOPLA and HYPE that goes along with either! WHY>? cause to many delegates enjoy it!! Is it necessary??? thats a big HELL NO--negatory !!!! WE need to cut out the fun and games that are associated with the convention..and make sure the people we are sending get the message loud and clear they are there to WORK!!! not play...not visit and eat at the cost of dues that could be better spent on labor relations..and working to IMPROVE all of our JOBS!!!

HI you guys..I hadnt checked in on here in a really long time..I thought Tom was going to pull this site...guess he hasnt...so i reckon i better start posting stuff on here again...
Im getting ready to start a really big project..and maybe some of you on here would like to help? Im working on a an offshoot of our delegate awareness project...and I want to create a Indiana database with email addresses...Im sure there is one already out there somewhere...but since I dont have access to it..i got to start from scratch...so if you got emails of folks from Indiana..send em to me!!! They will not get a bunch of spam from me..you all know that...the only reason im looking..is so they can receive information pertinent to them faster than national makes it available!(usually) Plus we were thinking of sending out the cards again for the delegate awareness project. It would help if i knew a person in each office to send them too and a little bit of help would be great too..if anyone wants to volunteer!
Im glad to see there is still activity on this site..it sat idle for entirely to long...
