ARE YOU PISSED OFF YET? DO YOU WANT TO SEE CHANGE? COME on guys...you really want to get the union...take AWAY their backers at the convention...what better way to really stick it back to them...than to CONTROL WHO supports them with their votes!!
Every year people get fed up with the count...fed up with the union...and REALLY fed up with the po...BUT NOT A DAMN THING GETS DONE!!! WHY? you ask? cause people start talking decertification...talking about sueing...going to the labor boards....YADA YADA YADA...thats pointless and like a fart in the wind...
YOU really want to stick it back to the very folks that sing 4:1 inverted DPS mous...27 flats per minute FSS time standards? you got to get them where it hurts them...they could care less if you start a decerification drive...aint gonna happen...all they have to do is ignore you and you will run out of money and go away!!!
the way to hurt them is this...you take their support structure out from under them...how? you replace their bought and paid for delegates with people you feel will vote in your best intrests...and wont bow to them!!!Without their mindless drones who vote as their told....they would fold folks...when faced with having to stand for something..we have been shown time and time again they will fold to the USPS...why not to us? THE only way to make this happens is to control the delegate votes! thats it!!! there is NO OTHER WAY!!
so come on....help us help ourselves...lets send them a message...we are not gonna roll over and take it ....like a well trained dog...YOU stick it to us...well its coming back at you BABE!!!
Shortly into the 2008 national mail count the National Office started to receive calls with concerns of low volume. Just a few days following the mail count there were numerous calls of concern about mailings with in home delivery dates for the mail count period that were now being received after the mail count. The National Board decided that a national level grievance needed to be filed to address this mail flow issue. Shortly after filing the national level grievance, an all call went out to the state stewards to gather and provide the National Office with documentation so that a full investigation could be conducted by the National Board. After receiving the documentation from the field, many hours of research up to and not limited to contacting mailers and tracking mail from entry point to delivery by the carriers.
The burden of proof with a contractual grievance lies with the union. The union needed to prove that management manipulated the mail flow, mainly the requested in home delivery dated mailings during the 2008 national mail count. Although we had a tremendous amount of documentation provided from the field on dated mailings, we were unable to prove that management was the cause of these dated mailings arriving outside of the in home requested delivery dates.
just a thought folks...they couldnt prove manipulation...with thousands of documneted cases...time to relook at our current Evaluated system...past time actually...its all heading straight down the tubes from here!

Are you kidding me? Seriously? be grateful? I keep reading these posts on the net...telling us to "be grateful....be Glad you got a job!" And i got to say folks...thats exactly the kind of attitude the USPS hopes you have...they HOPE you will blindly accept district edits...Blindly accept the lose of thousands of dollars a year that you are ENTITLED to under the contract the UNION...and the PO accepted and adopted.
Being Grateful is a misnomer folks...its not gratitude that earns you your paycheck...its a American Institution called WORK! Gratitude has nothing to do with it. You should be GRATEFUL when a stranger stops you on the street to deliver a compliment...or a freind does a good deed for you...When you get up every morning..regardless of how you feel..or what you WANT to do and choose to do a job...gratitude ENDS. It amazes me that the concept of a FAIR days pay for HONEST days work eludes not only the business model of the Post Office..but also the majority it appears of our craft.
I know the economy sucks...theres no doubt..thats a fact...but lets face it..there are industries that have mis-managed for years...and have fallen by the wayside as a result. The postal service perhaps falls under this category as well...trade offs for discounts for mailers...reduced rates...etc....But those failures are not the making of me nor any of you. Do you really wish to contribute to their being able to continue those trends? The way things are looking...IM gonna be really grateful if all you grateful regulars dont screw me royally out a job. Being an RCA i understand that my gratitude should be directed at having a regular who knows her rights~~~ AND WILL FIGHT FOR THEM . So you all who meekly follow and accept...and wont stand for yourselfs...THANKS!!! Your Gratitude and inability to grow a freakin backbone is killing my bottom line here...and cutting your own throat when you are grateful and subless.

Twas the first week of mailcount...and all thru the office.... the craft was sure nervous wondering what this one would cost us.... the guages were whirling..the parcels were fought... the questions ignored...they mattered naught... the NRLCA oblivious. their heads in the sand.. while the plotting and scheming got out of hand... Us with our markups... Them with their pens.... we wrote it all down... they redlined it again... HURRY up and load... you lazy slow ****... "your killing my bonus.." and griping my grits.... the pm he glared..and rolled his jacket sleeves of tweed... you carriers are egotistical,self centered, full of greed... How many minutes DO you really think you need?
NO hold credit...no r time..no questions to address... we pay you to do it... its built into this mess....
If we dont get you this time.. next time will be better... well take that flat count... and make it less than a letter...
Potters big raise...who funds that you think? you silly rural carriers...we think you stink... your slackers and cheats...and lazy to boot... running home early with all that unearned loot,.. that money we NEED.. and were gonna take it... what you crying for? you didnt MAKE IT... so take your mailcount... your evaluated system you defend... and see how that works...when we screw you in the end...
sure now we need you... the mail must go thru .... drive your own car... and pay for it too... be glad for your job...you got one you see... just leave it to us..youll be working for free
Give up your raises.... to your managers BOW... your union wont help you... HOW we looking now?
